Maria Rojas is an active real estate agent and mother. Driven by her life experiences, she takes pride in her strong work ethic. In addition to her primary job functions, Maria displays an extraordinary commitment to family and community.
Born in 1989 in a small town in Mexico to young parents and an alcoholic father, Maria’s childhood was difficult and unpredictable. Growing up, she took care of her siblings and family. Being a caretaker has always been part of her DNA. Maria’s childhood experiences instilled in her the motivation and dedication to give herself and her future family a better life. Despite her difficult upbringing, Maria’s love of her family solidified her dream of having children. When she was only able to have one biological child, Maria and her husband looked to foster. Immersing herself in the world of foster care made her more passionate to adopt. She now has two foster children, not including her beloved dogs.
Maria’s passion for giving extends beyond her family to her community. She is involved in various ways, including Prescott Area Young Professionals, Foster Arizona, and leadership roles in her office.
In her work life as a real estate agent, she enjoys helping first time home buyers. First time home buyers have a special place in her heart because, as a child, she thought home ownership would not be possible for her. Guiding young adults through the process and discussing how they can achieve their goals is extremely rewarding.
Maria also enjoys drawing, working out, long walks or runs, and cooking for her family.
